Privacy Policy

One Habit is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your personal goals and habits are yours alone. This policy explains how we handle data — both on this website and in the app.

Website Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, how people navigate, and which features get attention. No ads, no cross-site tracking.

Analytics only activate if you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, no data is sent to Google. Your choice is saved in your browser (localStorage) and respected on every visit. You can change your decision at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage.

If analytics are active, data is processed by Google LLC (USA) under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Google's data handling is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

App — Data Storage

Your personal habit data, photos, notes and preferences are stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded — not to us, not to anyone else. There is no account, no cloud sync and no server holding your habits. The single exception concerns purchases and is described under In-App Purchases below.

App — Photos

Photos you choose as your anchor image are stored only on your device. We do not have access to your photo library beyond what you explicitly select.

App — Notifications

Push notifications are scheduled locally by your device to remind you of your habit. No notification data is transmitted to external services.

App — Analytics

The app contains no analytics or tracking SDKs. What you do inside it — which habit you choose, when you check in, what you write in your notes — is never measured or transmitted, and there are no advertising identifiers of any kind. The only data that leaves the app is the purchase check described below.

In-App Purchases

One Habit offers a one-time purchase to unlock full functionality, processed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple or Google and subject to their respective privacy policies: Apple · Google. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Your purchase status is managed by RevenueCat. Every time the app starts, it checks that status — transmitting a randomly generated, anonymous identifier together with your purchase history over an encrypted connection. That identifier is created on your device and is not linked to your name, your email or any account. On our side the result appears only as sales statistics, never as an identifiable person. RevenueCat's handling of this data is subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data Deletion

Your habit data lives on your device and is under your full control: uninstall the app, or clear its data in your device settings, and it is gone. We hold no copy of it.

The one exception is the purchase record held by RevenueCat. To have it deleted, write to info@onehabit.at and we will request its removal.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data, as well as the right to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@onehabit.at. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
